Title: Scotch Brite: Oh no, not another topic. . .

I know by now you're getting pretty annoyed with the scotch brite crap....

I bought some Blue Scotch Brite pads (which is like 1000 grit I think), but I was wondering if you can apply them by hand and how, or if a spinner is necessary.  The reason I'm asking this is because my computer is being an a-hole, and when I try to go to preferences or profile, the bottom of the Explorer says "Error on Page", and I can't.  

So any help to this beaten up topic is appreciated.

a_ak57 -- I suppose you can do it by hand if you are willing to put in the elbow grease, personally I'm too lazy.  To do a really good job, I think you need access to a spinner.  --  JohnP

I have a spinner now, but back before I bought it I used Scotch-Brite on bowling balls by hand and I think it worked out just fine.  I use the maroon, green and light grey ones.  In my experience, the blue ones seem to be an entirely different breed.  They don't seem to do much of anything at all.

Ok, thanks, just making sure I wasn't going to screw up my stuff...

I'll probably get some green ones too, for my smashr.
