Simple Green
« on: October 02, 2004, 12:06:33 PM »
I bought a bottle of simple green at the local grocery store, i was wonder if someone could post detailed instructions on the dilution and the method to go about cleaning my bowling balls in the most efficent manner possible. (Ex. Do i need to wash the stuff off, and how long to i leave it on for?)

Thanks.

Codedreamer -- I wipe the ball with a wet paper towel after cleaning it with a Simple Green/rubbing alcohol/water mixture.  I'll be interested to see what others do.  --  JohnP

I dont even dilute the simple green, though I hear its cheaper to mix it w/ water and its just as good. I just use it straight from the bottle, and no I dont wipe it off after I use it. I put it on my towel, wipe down my ball, and let it dry.

I use a solution of 1:1 SimpleGreen:Water.  I put it in a spray bottle, then spray the ball, then use a microfibre towel to wipe the ball.  The results are great!

microfibre + simplegreen = awesome cleaning!
