Rogue Cell surface prep
« on: April 03, 2009, 12:44:08 AM »
Ok I got a rogue cell and had it drilled. This ball was a big step up from my old Blue FABall. I had it drilled for length because the regular cell I have thrown a few times hooks so hard it was tough to control and keep on the lanes. But after throwing the Rogue a few times I have found that I really have to throw the ball a lot harder than I usually would and try and put a lot of revs on it to bring it to life. When I do this it does really hit hard and will come back from nearly anywhere on the lanes but I was wondering if there was something I could do to "Liven" up the surface so I am not working so hard to get the ball to perform. I hate to go have it re-drilled already and am looking for a simple surface change to pick up the action of this ball.

Out of the box the Rogue is 4000 grit. Try it at 2000. At 2000 I found myself standing against the ball return and Pitching it to the gutter to keep it off the Booklyn side. This is a very strong Ball. Good Luck
