The Trizact compound is GREAT stuff. I made some experiments with it, searching for a finish between a high gloss polish and 4.000 Abralon or Rough Buff, for a compromise between length and control.
I tried it on several balls (e. g. Awesome Finish, Shock & Awe, Domination, Smash Zone), on a base grit of 4.000 Abralon, and all I can say is WOW! Mirror-like surface, VERY shiny, but also VERY tacky.
Finesse-It II leaves the pure coverstock without any wax - it was designed for car body finishing before paint is applied, and to smooth out sanding lines in the 2.000-4.000 grit range.
Due to the glossy surface the ball still sails well through the heads, but at the breakpoint the control and stability is IMHO much improved, as well as back end traction (compared to a polished piece). Due to the tacky surface, pin carry is also enormous!
Definitively worth a try, you'll love it
