So we are into Abralon but now what!

So I'm in to it now too!

Went to a trade show and they had it and Mo Pinel recommended it.

He put 4000 on my ball.  Too long for weekday leagues but not bad for our slick, then gravel then slick special little house treat shot on weekends.

Then I put 2000 on.  WAY too much for our weekend volume.  Maybe nice for weekday volume leagues!

Is there a 3000???

I think that 2000 grit spread is too great for our low volume shot!

If there is a 3000, I have never seen them or know about them, sorry.

LL,

Someone here on ballreviews recommended sanding a pearl with the 4000 grit pad as opposed to its normal polish, as a way of keeping a pearl's length but allowing it combat carrydown to some degree. Maybe I don't have his ball speed but taking a pearl to 4000 grit still made it react too early to give me the ball reaction of a pearl. The rough surface is what reduces length but, of course, by implication, will fight carrydown. I re-polished my pearl.

Nice idea, though.
