"Fluff",
I'm pretty sure that I've seen posts/threads in here with better prices on them; hopefully some roomies will post a thread with that info ...

Someone posted a link to www.supergrit.com and they had pretty good prices I thought.  I was just wondering how long it has been on this site because I never saw it before.  I notice that is says "EBONITE" Abralon Pads so maybe that is why they are on there now.

All those prices are absurd. They are raping the public.

If you don't want to order online try going to your local Auto Paint store, they should sell them there, mine does.

Amen to that. Those aren't even close to good prices. Surprises me that some people will pay outageous prices for something like that and think nothing of it, but they will balk and bicker about paying a few dollars more for a good ball.

I just ordered some from Supergrit and they were $2.75 a piece. I didn't think that was to bad.

Kong, you did good. That is a good on-line price and way cheaper than the
$5 & $6 each prices that others are paying.

For a long long time I have been getting Mirka products from my local auto parts store. Today I learned they are no longer going to handle that line. Switching to 3M. I've been getting Abralon pads for 53 bux/box of 20.

For who is saying that it is a rip off, You obviously don't know what these costs the companies and the small markup on them. The ones at Auto Stores are not the same.

You have the wrong information. They are identical, made by Mirka, and are also used by cabinet makers and carpenters. Yes, they are the same product. Yes, they are ripping you off simply because of ill-informed people like you. I have used these for years. I know the product.

Yeah the fact that you can get the same exact thing on supergrit.com for 2.75 a pop tells you something.  I think the only difference here is that these are Ebonite ones so pro shops can get them from their Ebonite distributor or something.

Some additional information on Supergrit - If you order 5 - 20 pads the price drops to $2.50 each.  There's another drop to $2.25 per pad for 20+.  Minimum order is $25.  Shipping to Kentucky for 10 pads is $8.  I didn't ask, but I think shipping for higher quantities or for other abrasive products added to the order would probably stay at $8.  --  JohnP

Wow this is a lot better than what Buddies charges.  I won't buy any from Buddies anymore.  Buddies charges 6.75 each.
