So, if you could get Abralon, Siaair, or Jost pads for about the same price which one would you use ?

You're paying to much. Check out abralonpads.com. Save some money by buying at least seven in an order..

If you do Google searches for "Trizact Foam discs", you will get several sources, among them woodworking places, like Woodworker's  Hardware, Ebay and Amazon.

They come in 3", 5" and 6" discs. The foam backing is thinner than Abralon, Siaair, and closer to that of NEAT pads. They're available in 1000, 3000 and 5000 grit.

They also come in flat discs ("Trizact Film Discs") in colors: blue, green, orange and white. These are usually used for hard surface finishing, like Corian, and for smoothing out glass. Yes, they're that hard. These are usually used with buffing type machines., but I have used them with CABs.

They last for 20 - 50 uses, depending on how hard you press.

FYI They're Gordon Bowling Supply. They were one of the original internet bowling sellers in the late 90s. The fact that they're still in business means they must be doing something right. Their prices aren't the cheapest but they seem reliable in my dealings with them, then and now.

Thanks for the link. At $8.00 per pad, they're definitely within the price zone of consideration.
 
After having used Siaair for a while, I'm not sure a NEAT pad lasts longer than 3-4 siaair pads, which it would have to for it to be price effective. But I'm glad there is an option for NEAT if I want to pull the trigger.
