Track Delayed Reaction Polish.....

Just bought my first bottle but when I went to use it it seems the water and the polish have "separated"
Lookks like when you put cream in water...
Is this normal?

don't know if that's normal for Delayed Reaction. It will happen with almost every liquid, especially when they sit for a long time. Most will mix up and be good as new. Some may not.

Didn't you shake it well before you tried to use it? Ingeneral, you should really do that with every polish or liquid before using it. (Unless you did shake it and it remained separated; then I wouldn't use it. I'd send it back to wherever I got it.)

I also don't know if it's normal, but my bottle is the same.  I just shake it up good before using, which distributes the materials evenly but does not make it look like a cream, then use it.  It seems to still work OK.  --  JohnP

Charlest and JohnP.Have shaken the "beejezes" out of it,but makes no difference.
Used it on my Big Blue Pearl yesterday,(previously dulled),and in terms of shine it was just an ordinary result. Will be using it soon,wont really know til then.

Post this in Track forum for more answers than you will get in this forum as well as answers from some Track people like EXCALIBER & Clint. I don't know anything about the Delayed Reaction, but do this is pretty much normal for Track Reaction Plus of which I just shake it a few times, use it, and it does the job. (Cleans, polishes lightly, and adds tact to the ball)

I didn't mean to imply that shaking it really made a difference, it just distributes the solids evenly but still looks like white solids suspended in a yellowish liquid.  And I don't think it's intended to be a polish.  It contains a "slip agent" that makes the ball surface slippier so it doesn't grab the lane as early, but doesn't make a ball shine.  --  JohnP

I set a 4 oz size bottle outside ( day and night) for 48 hours, it separated, after shaking the crap out of it, it went back to what the rest of the bottle looked like.

I was testing to see if below freezing temps made a difference. Sorry, that didn't do what you said yours did, so maybe you do have an old bottle, it probably happens from time to time.

And yes, even in AZ, it freezes, not much here, but nights have been 25-27, days 65-72, so it got a wide temp range outside.

I just wanted to see if cold/temp changes might be the problem. Things like that happen in shipping. No matter where or who you are, that's all I was after.

I'm not sure if you have a 'dud', but I can say that the temp changes I put it through, didn't make it stay separated. Your post made me curious, that's all.
