Does anyone know the best finish on Yeah Baby and the NS2 with trizact?
A friend has a Haus system and has access to trizat and wants to know as they dont mention it on Legends site.
The idea is for box finish on the 2 balls.
Do you think its a good idea to go with the Trizact as we have use of it or should we just stick with scotchbrite and wet/dry

I have changed the surfaces on my YB & NS many times, both up and down, using both wet/dry silicon carbide sandpaper and Scotch-Brite nylon pads. I also have trizact pads and have not found them to make a visible difference on these balls. So I stick with nylon pads and sandpaper.

The stock finish on both these balls is the same, AFAIK: get them to 800 grit with sandpaper; then finish them off with a used SB light grey nylon pad.

FWIW I find these balls' surface very easy to change with VERY light applications of polish. More polish and they go longer and snap harder and handle less oil better. Rougher finish and they can handle TONS OF OIL.

I have not yet tried the NS2; far too happy with my NS. Friends tell me the NS2 hooks more with more control than the NS; hard to believe as my NS is a control ball for me.

Thanks charlest, I had hoped you could point us in the right direction.
My friend said will try the pale green trizact and see what he gets with that. 10 micron he thinks. Then he'll grey pad for the finish.

green (A35 microns) is around 380/400 grit.
blue (A10 microns) is around 750 grit.
orange (A5) is around 1500 grit.
There is no grey, but there is a white which is cerium oxide; I would not recommend it until you try it with blue or orange first. White is ultra, ultra fine (3000 -10,000 grit).

Thanks again.
He thought the blue was the 35. He hasnt used them for a while so he wasnt sure which was which grit.
I'll let him know before he puts the balls through.
By the way his NS2 is a monster. Its in box and drilled full leverage. He struggles to get the length he needs at at times but as hes a low rev player thats not that often on a fresh condition. Its helped to let him get deeper on the lanes up to a point that hes never found with any other ball.
It does give a nice arc with great pop at the end.
Another winner for Lane Masters/Legends.

the more i hear about the NS2, the more I want one, but JS just conned me into a Big Kahuna. He loves his NS2 also. Maybe I should let JS be my Legends buying guide, as we seem to like the same balls. The YB is the only one we've disagreed on.

I wasnt sure about my Yeah Baby either at first.
It was way too unpredictable. Very jumpy when my Absolute Power was so solid on the same condition. I didnt use it for a while and one night i got it out of the bag when the AP was not up to the condition. I wiped the ball and it turned the cloth a mustard yellow. The dye was litterally running out of the ball. When I got it home I cleaned it for over half an hour with clean N dull and simple green then alchohol until the colour stopped coming out of the ball. After that it became so much more consistant, maybe its a problem with certain balls in the run.
Still its not quite as enjoyable to use as my AP. Boy is that an under-rated ball.
