Storm polishes??
« on: September 06, 2011, 02:09:30 AM »
Of the several different polishes Storm offers, which would be equivilent to Brunswick's Ruff Buff finish?

Also, I only have Reacta-Shine at the moment, could I lower my underlying grit levels to get the finish close to the Ruff Buff until I can order some?

I have been experimenting alot lately with different finishes and I find that what I really like right now it to take an older 1000 or 2000 abralon pad and applying the Reacta Shine directly on the pad. Generally it gives it more of a sheen as opposed to high gloss that you normally get with Reacta Shine and a spinner.

This is as close as I have gotten to the Rough Buff finish so far, am I on the right track?

Storm #2 and Rough Buff seem very close to me.
