Charlest, i know you've used both so what kind of comparison can u give between control it and ufo performance on the lanes?? I use control it a lot on my stuff cause everywhere hooks so much around here just wondering what you think?
In performance they are very similar, but not identical. I get a little more length with UFO. Not a lot more, but more.
In application and removal, UFO is easier to go on and to remove. A 4000 grit pad can remove it. Control-It needs two applications and a waiting period to insure proper adhesion.
In permanence, Control-It (and Delayed Reaction) are more permanent. UFO lasts around 20 - 30 games (Most normal polishes have to be renewed in a similar time frame.)
Since Control-It uses silicone or similar substance to block the "pores" of the surface to prevent oil absorption, removal requires a relatively rough sanding (500 - 1000 grit) to remove the layer of resin whose "pores" are blocked.
