I think that urethane balls are solid and do not have many pores. Compared to a reactive resin ball, is urethane with pores, that was created by an additive. I would imagine that urethane balls will probably soak up very little oil, since they have few, if any pores. Thus I would doubt that either of those systems would work, unless there is something more going on then I know about.
I once put an old solid urethane ball in my rejuvinator for several cycles, and no oil at all came out. Not that it was too surprising.
