Title: Using abralon pads

Just got some pads. I have never used them before, as I always used scotch brite. I was under the assumption I should hit the ball in a circular motion when using these, like I do with scotch brite. This is also how the resurfacing machines I have seen work. There was a set of instructions that came with pads and they indicate to NOT go in a circular pattern when adjusting surface by hand. What do you do and what results do you see.

By hand with a circular motion creates no problems, and does a fine job on my stuff.  Use plenty of water (one squeeze from saturated for me) and rinse them frequently and you'll be fine.  I do most of my sanding with abralon by hand and I get very consistent results from ball to ball and on the same ball with touch ups on a weekly basis.
