Valentino Remedy RX cleaner
« on: September 06, 2008, 02:56:02 PM »
I've tried it twice now. Unfortunately the lanes I've bowled on the last 2 times were especially dirty. There were some smudges that it removed quite well.

OK, here's the shocking part: it left the ball surface more tacky than any cleaner I have used including Clean and Dull. If I were strong enough, I could have palmed the ball, like a basketball. As it was, I almost did it with two hand, just by the friction created by my palms placed on the side of the ball.

I asked two friends to feel the bowling ball (get your mind out of the gutter ) and they looked at me strangely, UNTIL they felt the ball's surface. They were also very surprised.

Kevin Valentino did urge me to spray the towel and wipe the ball during bowling but I don't usually do that. I also wipe my hands on the towel. Maybe I'll use a 2nd towel. FYI it's legal for use during competition.

Good work, ... err, make that Great Product, again, Kevin, and thanks.

Remedy is a cleaner that will not change the surface of your balls one way or the other.

Snake Oil is an excellent non-abrasive polish, that will leave the underlying grit as it is, but will add a nice and easy shine to allow length that you did not have before.

If you need to change the grit level of the base on any coverstock, please do so before applying Snake Oil.

Resurrection is a surface refresher that will clean the surface (the "refresher" part), bring the coverstock's surface to 800 grit (US grade) and add a very, very light shine on top of it.

Just picked up two sample packs and an 8oz Remedy.

Looking forward to trying it out.

If Charlest likes it, it must be a winner.

still bowling on newish synthetics and can't get the ball dirty enough to test the cleaner. This is defintiely ridiculous. Still so freaking tacky. In fact, the 2 balls I used again all night, remained as tacky as when I cleaned then previously. They never lost it all night. Stranger and stranger. I almost felt silly cleaning them and re-tackifying (is that a word?) the surface.

Got my order yesterday and was quite pleased with the results. The Remedy worked real well and left the ball very tacky as Charlest described. Best part is that the smell of the Remedy does not knock you over like some of the other cleaners do.

I used some of the Snake Oil on a Nighthawk and even by hand it did a very nice job, can imagine how much better it would work with a spinner. High mirror shine and it didn't take much of it to get it done.

SO far very impressed.

Justed wanted to give an update to our customers in Louisiana, Alabama, Atlanta, Flordia, and cities close to the listed states. Due to Hurricane Ike, we will be expecting 2 to 4 days of delays.

Orders in Texas will be postponed until further notice from the USPS.

You can get your orders tracking number, by click on the shipment email, or by going to our ordering website and logging in.

Finally tested Resurrection on a shiny oil hungry Elite Eclipse.  It dulled it down nicely to a sheen.  I followed it up with some Remedy to remove any excess product.  Even more dirt was removed from the ball than by my normal cleaner alone.

I am pleased with the results and product so far, that damn ball has never been so clean and tacky.

Tomorrow I will be testing Snake Oil on a HRG needed for light to dry lanes.  The underlying grit is 4000, should be interesting.  If the ball doesn't budge it's a success.!!!

I to got my Triple Threat package today.

Used Snake oil on my Ogre pearl at 2000, came out nice and shiny. ALso did my Track Uprising at 2000, that ball is way to strong for anything under heavies without a polish I guess. Polished all 4 sides on both. I will say I tried using snake oil on a dry terry cloth, and tried using it with a wet old abralon, I found that the wet abralon worked better than the dry cloth.  Will report back after throwing the rocks.

Also used the Remedy after bowling tonight. ANd this is going to be some really good stuff, got my ball tacky as they get. Awesome cleaner. Right up there with Legends so far.

Thanks Kevin for the fast and tidy delivery
