Valentino Sanding Pads
« on: March 04, 2009, 01:57:46 PM »
If you've tried to order some in the past couple of days, you'll have noticed that you couldn't! Well all the pads are back in stock and we will have a constant flow of pads coming in from now on so no more bottling necking orders.

The difference between our pads and abralon is big. Our pads use a woven silicone carbide fiber unlike the abrasive mesh, this will allow for even consistent results and finer sand lines. Anything above 800 grit you'll hardly see the sanding lines. With testing, the pads last 2 to 3 times longer, depending on how long you sand the surface of the ball. So if you can get 4 balls with the competitions pad you'll expect to get 10 to 12 balls out of our pad. Just depends on how you like the sand (2,4,6 sides). The pads truly fit in with our product line-up in terms of results and quality and the sales are growing.

Kevin,

I received my 600 & 2000 grit sanding pads, today.
Along with the 2 bottles of RemedyRx.
(The Remedy is for 2 teammates who have been using mine...I told them I would pick some up.)

2 day service? Wow!

Thanks.

I'll let you know how I like the pads.

When the pads are in stock we try to get orders out the same day. now that we have a constant shipment coming once every two weeks now, we won't hit too many snags with the pads anymore.

Keep your eyes peeled, our new product is about to "arrive" within the next week or so.

I use a 1000 abralon pad plus snake oil, so would your 1000 grit sanding pad give me the same results as the abralon pad and last longer?

One additional question to this thread... I just purchased an asst of Valentino pads and have to say I love the Valentino's pad over Abralon without question, but wanted to make sure of one thing: Are the pads "P" rated just like Abralon, so that a 1000 pad is roughly (pun intended) equal to the same as Abralon and therefore approx 500 US grit?

Signature? I don't need no stinking signature...

They are very similar to a Fepa 'P' rating, our pads produce a more consistent and even finish. They last 2 to 3 times longer.

It really depends on how you sand, 2 sides, 4 sides or 6 sides and how long you sand.

Typical amount is around 10 balls, if you can finesse the pads you can easily get 15 uses.
