Actually there has been significant discussion here about comparisons between the two models, but it has been several months ago since the topic was last raises.....therefore, it isn't readily visible unless you expand your "preferences" to a longer period of time.

I don't own either of the listed models....my spinner is an older Hy-Tek model that is no longer available.  But, I can tell you that the Donkee spinners have caught a lot of attention due to excessive vibration.  A couple of Donkee users have complained significantly about the Donkee model vibrating to the point that they were barely useable.  I don't recall anyone complaining about vibration with the Vertex model.

Of course, any spinner can vibrate somewhat when the ball is in such a position that the internal weightblock makes the ball unstable......so some vibration can be expected at certain times with a ball spinner.

Hopefully some of the spinner owners will chime in here to give you the full lowdown on both models.  My initial guess is that the Vertex spinner will probably top the desirable list, but I'm just speculating here too.

well I think I may go with the vertex, because I have heard many comments that it doesn't vibrate, plus the price is alittle cheaper. 159.00 plus 9.95 for shipping, donkee charges 30 bucks for shipping. I don't like shiny bowling balls because I bowl on heavy oil, so I dont have a need for the 850rpm's. Or if I need to increase the speed I can always change the pulleys.

does any one else have any comments?

Just got the Vertex a few months ago. Vitually no Vibration. I do get some movement on the third position of a six way sand(ball cup edge crosses through the center of the grip line with fingers up) but even with the spinner just sitting in a large storage container(less clean up)it is hardly a problem.

A splash guard would be nice but if you just buy a big enough container the spray stays inside and with a lid it can be handy when it comes time to move it out of the way as well.
