I was told by a distributor the other day, that if a ball comes with an "Abralon Sanded Surface" the warranty will be voided if the ball is sanded with wet/dry sandpaper.
I mean come on, firstly, how the fudge would they know that wet/dry was used instead of the abralon, and secondly, how the hell could it void the warranty???
I call BS on him. I want to hear from the manufacturers on this!

Sounds like a load of crap to me...
I think the manufacturers would agree that by adjusting the surface one can change reaction (within limits).
