I'm new to the abralon world. All the hype I've been hearing about it I thought I'd give it a try. Just bought one 1000 grit pad to start. Used it on a ball by hand. What an awesome product.

What kind of material is this made out of? I also heard it can last 10 times longer then normal sandpaper. Is that true? Why use sandpaper anymore at all when you use can use this?
