I have recently been using the Motiv stuff and really like it. I was just curious what everyones opinion was on what the best is.

I knew that answer was gonna pop up. I was just simply trying to find out what the masses used and liked. I have only been bowling for a couple years and still learning. I was just curious if anyone thought there was anything better out there than what I am using. That's all.

i don't know about the "masses" but i've been using brunswicks factory finish high gloss polish since it came on the market and i'm really happy with the length it provides as well as the backend reaction i'm seeing. as for cleaners, my mixture of simple green, alcohol, and water works great and costs pennies per use.

I have used Ebonite's cleaners and storms polishes they were ok,  I am currently using Valentino's cleaners and polishes: Remedy RX, Snake Oil and UFO.  Have been happy with these.

I am using Strike-Mor ball cleaner put out by a former pro shop owner in North Carolina.  Works great for getting the oil and dirt off the ball without polishing or dulling the surface.

While most will think my opinion is biased toward our product, I stand behind and use our product everyday.

UFO - Dry/Light Oil
Snake Oil - Medium House Shot
Resurrection - Heavy Oil
Remedy RX - Keeps the ball clean and oil free

We try to keep it simple here, our product line up works for all coverstocks and is easy to apply using your hand or a spinner.

I use to use ebonite Black magic, now I'm using Lane#1 secret sauce.... it can used by hand or spinner, in fact I've even used it with lane polishing machine. In my opinion its the best stuff on the market.

Polish, I'm using the Sauce by hand (no spinner) and I can get a decent shine going with a little elbow grease.

Cleaner, just some storm xtra clean but I want to give the Remedy RX a try sometime.

I recently used the Storm Reacta Shine cleaner/polish. I am very impressed so far.I am not getting the severe over/under that most polishes cause for me. I will know more as I get to use it on more conditions.

Well here''s the combination I use:

Daily Cleaner: Zapp-It...by far the best overall OIL remover I have found. If you want to get rid of the crud added to your ball by the ball returns, good old 70% rubbing alcohol tops my list. Valentino Remedy RX is a very close 2nd in my book for all around daily use.

Deep cleaner: Valentino Resurrection...great for keeping the dull balls dull and clean. Also a great base for polish.

Polish: Lane 1/ Bean''s Secret Sauce...sorry guys. it is by far the best polish I have ever used. Call me a Kool Aid drinker if you must but it''s the best I have seen. Valentino''s Snake Oil is a very close 2nd.

Extender Polish: Valentino UFO....product works jsut as advertised...extra length without adding a "left turn" to the backend

I have used many different polishes from Squeeky Clean, Columbia, Ebonite  and Track, and Storm over the years with success but I am not overly impressed with the current offerings from the Big Boys.

Cleaners:  Simple Green/Rubbing Alcohol, because it's cheap and works great.  I use clean 'n' dull every once in awhile on my solids too.

Polish: Lane #1 Secret Sauce applied by hand.

I've used the lanemasters cleaner that came with a ball.  It was pleasant scented and the smell stayed with the ball.  It was like a do-it-yourself Storm ball.

Hey Doug, is the UFO polish easy to put on by hand?  I am spinnerless, and love Beans' Sauce because it's so easy to use without a spinner
