Lambswool Pad and Waffle Pad?
« on: August 21, 2005, 01:13:27 PM »
Just got a new spinner(Innovative 2 speed)and purchased the lambswool pad and waffle pad with it. What are these used for? I am guessing they are used in the polishing process somehow but would appreciate some advise. My first attempt turned out pretty well. I had an old HPD that was drilled full roller leverage(pin to grip center 3&3/8" in a 7:30 direction.)Well this ball was unusable for me because it just hooked too much on my THS.Used trizact pads all the way Down to the white one(6 sided crosshatch method) then applied a couple of coats of Track Delayed reaction and wow what a difference now use the ball on a THS with a lot of success.Didn't use the lambswool or waffle pad(just didn't understand how to). Thanks for any input.

                                  Thanks,
                                  Mike E

I don't use them, but the waffle pad to apply polish/cleaners...lambswool to finish polish ( high sheen/gloss).

I use a terry cloth rag for both. High polish finish, a VERY old diaper ( my youngest is 23 ), but I'm cheap.
