Title: Whatever happened to particle surface balls? Currently made?

I had some oldies-silver streak particle by RG and Brunswick Quantum slate blue; both particle surfaces, which I really liked.  Also the Chaos lines of Columbia balls.
What equates to that today?  mica? or some other surface?
or no more particle balls made?

Please any thoughts;  I did like that reaction which did give control but yet hit very well and carried very well.  Any thoughts on what might be comparable today?

They are still made but "particle" gained a bad reputation so they no longer call it that. I think currently the most widely used is the Roto Grip Hyper Cell and any of the Storm Nanos.
Lord Field and Lane Masters also make particle covers.

Any other manufacturers make particle covers:  RG?  Storm?

He did say Storm above and Storm makes Roto-Grip.
The Storm NRG coverstock is particle and the RG Defiant (MicroBite coverstock) is particle.The current RG HyperCell also uses the MicroBite coverstock.
