Greetings!
I was so impressed with Valentino's products with my Horizon Solid I decided to give it a go with one of my old fav's...my Track Xception. This ball must have over 400 games on it and has been decently upkept. It has been sitting in the closet for a bit of time and brought it out as really haven't found a good replacement for it.
I took it into the shop and hit it first with 500 Grit Abralon, then Resurrection. I decided to then hit it with 1000 and 1500 sandpaper and then just a touch of Snake Oil.
The reason I fell in love with this ball came right back to me.....ignored the heads, great late mid-lane read and a strong but consistent move off the point for me. (Drilled pin centered over bridge, cg 1/2 right, mb 1 1/2 from thumb).
With the Resurrection and the Snake Oil it is like the OOB reaction I remember. Ball still hits like a truck and everyone was in awe of the Greenie with Polish at a tourney this weekend (hit the finals in singles and doubles tomorrow).
Thanks again to Track and to Kevin for outstanding products!!
Mike
