Abralon pad question...
« on: June 23, 2011, 03:43:18 AM »
Im getting a ball spinner and a rejuvenator this weekend, and im wondering for those on here who have a spinner, where is the best place/website for abralon pads? I guess what im looking for is maybe like a variety pack, with different grit levels. Any help would be appreciated.

I've found the best prices on eBay. Sometimes you can really get a great deal on them. I've paid as low as $30 for a box of 20 shipped, but you can almost always find them for around $50 for a box of 20.

bowlingbeat.com is where I buy them.  You can order a combo pack and just let them know which grits you want at the time of your order.

If you're on a budget, go to your local automotive parts store and get some wet/dry paper, it's cheap and easy to get when you need it.

These guys do a great job and you can mix and match what pads you get. They ship super fast too. I've done about 4 orders with these guys and top notch everytime.

I'd be cautious about dealing with these guys. I'm not saying, "not to", just be cautious.

I ordered some Abralon from them. They sent it via US Mail. AFter not getting it in about 10 days, I sent them an email asking for a status check. Then a few days later, I sent another, then a few more days, another. They never replied. I had the USPS confirmation number which, as most people know, is not a tracking number. The post office said they could nothing and the sender would have to follow up. 30 days later it arrived, meanwhile, they never had the courtesy to reply.
Not very good customer service. No matter what their prices, I doubt I will ever order from them again.

Price and rapid shipping are good when everything goes smoothly. When you hit a bump in the road, customer service tells how good that company really is.

Wow, that is pretty messed up. I don't blame you, I'll still deal with them, but I would never again if I had the same experience that you had!

I've bought multiple "boxes" of various grits from supergrit in the past.  They always had good service and (at least at the time), had the lowest prices.
