Best Surface For Visionary Slate Blue Gargoyle
« on: February 25, 2012, 04:18:30 AM »
I have a Slate Blue that I love but don't get to use it as much on the conditions I see now.  I would like to use it as a spare ball but it is a bit stronger than my plastic ball.  I'm thinking of taking up to 4000 and applying a light coat of polish but looking for recommendations.

Thanks,

Go for it. The SBG has little traction from the coverstock, and the core stabilizes it well - the latter IMHO defines pretty much, when and how strong the ball changes direction, though. But with a slick surface, you can almost take that influence out of the equation.
