Where can you buy white Scotch pads? From what I understand, this is a very mild pad and could also be used for cleaning. Is this correct?
Thanks for the help.

I send mine through a wash cycle in the machine and it calms them down and makes a great cleaning pad. If I remember right they are said to be about 1500 new but all I want to use them for is cleaning so I tried the washer thing and it works for me.

The white pads are so mild right out of the box that it is almost impossible to alter the balls surface with them unless you put a ton of pressure on them and then some when using them. Now, that being said, I use them with Track Clean & Dull to clean my bowling balls and I have yet to see one change the ball surface when used in a normal manner with normal pressure.

You might be able to use the sponge-backed ones they have in the cleaning aisle at Walmart. They say "delicate" or something like that on them. I don't know if they're the same as the plain white scotchbrite pads, but they're pretty darn mild.

Auto paint/industrial supplier or possibly O'Reilly / Advance auto parts - think a 6 x 9 is $2.00
