Are these similar drillings? When I ask specific questions I want to make sure I get the terminology right. Also, just to make sure what do the "5" and the "3" exactly mean when you say 5x3 drilling? I have an idea, but want to make sure.
Thanks!

I use a digital watch but 5x3 means 5 inch pin to pap with the cg 3 inches from PAP.

Thanks for the info... at least I had my mind on the right track. Now for a little followup question... are there better balls suited for 10:30 type drillings??
I've had a Tidal Wave which I liked 5 years ago when I got it, but it ended up in the closet I think due to lack of oil at the time. Then I had a blue TiBoss2 with a 10:30 and I didn't like it all. From my observations the TiBoss2 was more of a skid/flippy ball, so I was wondering if the skid-flip nature fought with the 10:30 rolling arc nature and it just wasn't a good drill for that ball. Possibly 10:30 drills are best suited for med-lower RG balls?
What brought up all my questions was... I pulled out the Tidal Wave to try on my oily scratch league shot for next year and it was outhooking my stacked V2Particle by 3-4 boards (the TWave had earlier revs and more backend), and my stacked Vicious was going straight. I was thinking of replacing my Vicious (with an Inferno, Raging Inferno, Reloaded, or Thing) because it really never worked the way I wanted (too much over/under, mostly under), but since it's lower RG, I was thinking of putting a 10:30 drill on it and maybe that would bring it to life and be a good compliment to the dull TWave which likes to hook early. Thanks for listening...
