1L Drillings?
« on: January 31, 2005, 10:50:10 AM »
Since I'm a novice with drillings and layouts, does all 1L or 1E drillings require a X-hole? It doesn't say anything about an extra hole on the Brunswick sheet. I do know that you sometimes need an X-hole to make the ball legal with the weights and all. But how can you tell the hole is your PAP? I thought when you throw it, the you would be able to see the hole in the ball as it goes down the lane, but the proshop person said that wasn't always the case. Which one is true?

Because before I purchased the UI, my track was much lower more like a spinners but I still hooked the ball. He referred to the track of that ball and I'm guessing PAP of that old track. I have changed my track to make it higher or whatever. If he drilled it 1L, and one of you guys said that 1L and 1E had to do with the distance to the PAP, with the old PAP, would that effect the reaction of the ball tremedously (sp?)?
