with the new USBC rule changes the cg can be moved to more places you get up to 3ozs of side and 3ozs of top or thumb you can make this work with longer pins now. spans will no longer be through finger holes and middle of bridge will be center of your palm which also makes it easier to lay out for no thumbers and 2 handed bowlers have to just make a X at this point moving forward
I don't believe that is correct, but so far, I can't find any clarity on the bowl.com website, which is par for them.
I think they meant to have the bowler mark which side of the holes they were using with the 'X' so that a bowler could not flip the ball, reversing the static weights at times, without someone noticing the 'X' is in the wrong location. I think they still want the static weights measured the old way for two-handers, but this is the info I can't find on their site and since I am not a two-hander, I never paid any attention before to where that info was located.
