Plugs

Why is it so incredibly bad to have plugs in your general track area? Or is it? If it is, why? Just wondering if it will have a huge effect or not.

Hmm, well, I wanted to plug my Diesel Particle, but the plugs could go in my track....so I wonder, would that really affect my ball's ability to handle oil? Now, I have a good amount of revs, so would that offset it enough?
Just asking before I do something dumb.

The amount of cover lost isn't that big of a deal. I think the biggest problem is ball roundness. Not enough plug = flat spot, too much = bump. If you have a
good
proshop, don't worry about it. I avoid it if possible, but I have several balls with plugs in the track. I don't see any difference.

As long as there is not a hump or flat spot where the plug(s) is, the normal bowler will not notice any difference. If there are any people that "might" notice the plugs, it would have to be the pros most of whom have extreme accuracy and technics, but I cannot speak for them.

just think about how many times your ball flairs over the Logo!
Little things like that don't matter much

Ah, okay, thanks. I wasn't sure if it was something about plugs in general, but I see, it's just if the driller messes up the plug. Okay, my driller is competent, so I'll do it.
