I have been thinking about trying a ball with this layout. I figure it will make the ball arc and be a little less aggressive in the backend.
Has anyone tried it, and if so what were the results.
Thanks

I haven't tried this exact layout, but generally pins in the 2" range will roll very early and are good for flying backends as they will not jump.

I've done it on an old green messenger.
It had nothing and could not hit until I moved weighthole off and past pap about two inches. Then in its polished state it went smoothly long and a round arc with just a touch of hit to it! With a pap hole it went pffffffttt! At the pocket.

PS with most balls I get a lot of backend movement!

I have a few balls drilled similar like, 3 3/8 x 0, 2 x 0 and so on all with balance holes on PAP. I find these balls to be very predictable. I am a tweener and these balls give me a great look on the fresh and read the breakdown really well. However, when breakdown occurs, you might have to go to the bag for something new. Hope my input helps.
