a little help laying out my Rogue please
« on: March 17, 2009, 01:04:49 PM »
I have a Rogue with a 4" pin and am wondering how i should drill it to get the reaction I am looking for...if possible...

I am what I think is a tweener...don't have a ton of hand but a fair share...and I throw the ball pretty hard...prolly around 18-19 mph...well at least according to those inaccurate as hell monitors, lol...

the reaction i am looking for is mid-long and STRONG backend, almost skid/flip like...is this reaction a possibility with my ball speed and middle-road rev rate? or is there a leagal way to drill this puppy up...any tips and tricks would be much obliged

A couple of questions:

What is you rev rate?

What is the top weight on the ball?

Where is the mb in relation to the cg?

Right handed or left handed?

The answer is yes there is a layout that can help you get the reaction you are looking for.

The best way is to have someone that has Bowler's Map determine it.

Trying to get a skid flip reaction out of cell core is going to be a bit of challenge as they are very very smooth off the spot.  The rogue is the most angular of the three of course, but I still think it might be easier the reaction your looking for out of different piece.
