Title: ? on a pin placement

what is the pin above or below the middle finger supposed to do like when is it supposed to react early late and strong or weak

Below starts up earlier than above... the strength of putting the pin above or below the middle finger completely depends on your PAP coordinates.

For me that is a really weak layout, but for someone with a smaller track diameter and shorter horizontal PAP length it could be quite strong.

alright thanks i have  really high track so that would make it weak right ?

With a very high track, pin-over-middle is going to be pushing 6" pin-to-PAP.  That's a very weak layout, you'll get a lot of length with it.  Pin under middle will be slightly earlier, but it won't be by much.
