Accidental ball good feel! Narrow finger pitch!
« on: October 02, 2010, 01:09:52 AM »
I know this has been discussed before.

Frankly I've almost always used 3/8 left pitch and 3/8 right pitch on my fingers.

Just recently had someone give me a nice ball from the past drilled lefty and my driller and I assessed it and decided fingers were close enough....1/4left and 1/4 right to my normal specs and went ahead and recast the thumb for me.

My observation is it there was no pain....surprised me!  And it was much easier to stay behind the ball with my fingers!  I was actually also getting loft very easy!  (Not the easiest thing for me).

IT was my feeling that I wanted to add a little left lateral for me(ie under palm lateral for this lefty similar to your right pitch) to get around the ball just a little more and regain part of my usually big sharp backend!

Drilling gurus.  Narrow finger pitches?  Me like first blush feel!  Your thoughts?
