Title: Adjusting reaction w/X-hole
Post by: Trackoholic on March 08, 2006, 04:01:54 AM
I have a Robo Rule drilled:

-O-O-
-----o---Pin
-----.---CG
-----
--O--
-----
----MB---Mass Bias

This ball has a 2 inch pin
I am slightly speed dominant over revs and this layout
is giving me more backend than I can control.  Does
anyone have any suggestions to tame the backend with
a weight hole in a specific placement.  Size, depth.
My thoughts were to achieve more flare to burn up a
little sooner.

How much side weight does it have? I just added side weight to my V2 to get it to finish stronger.  Taking some out should soften the backend a bit.

I thought a hole on the pap would stablize the ball early saving more energy for the backend.  Did I misunderstand?

Drill both fingers deeper. This will reduce the diff.
 or
Drill a weight hole 2 inches inside your VAL 7/8 in diameter, taking the static weights between 0 and 1/2 negitive. This will give you more midlane roll.
