Wow Pearl drilling

I have it drilled 4X4, but it seems to hook too much on the lanes i bowl on. Its a regular league shot with medium-heavy oil. what do you think is the best or a better drilling for this ball?

Define "seems hook to much".  

Does the overall amount of hook make you play an uncomfortably large swing?  Or is the ball moving too early?  Or is the backend too strong?

There are things you can do to tweak the ball without redrilling the fingerholes. Tweaking the cover is the easiest way to alter the reaction.  You could also add a weighthole to reduce the backend.

The ball goes down the lane long and then just takes off like a rocket, therefore, the backend is moving to strong. I wanted it to be strong, but i didnt realize it was going to move this much. I bought some particle polish. Will that help or will it make it snap more?

Polish should add length and snap.  Go the other way...dull the ball a bit for an earlier roll and less snap.

Do i dull it by sanding it, if so what grit and what should i buy to sand it? This is my first time changing the surface for a bowling ball.

A light scuffing with about 1000 grit scotchbrite at first will be fine.  You're just trying to alter the finish slightly, to reduce the backend.
