Another Pin to PAP Question
« on: July 18, 2003, 02:05:36 AM »
If I placed the pin 5 1/2 or 5 3/4 under fingers, would this cause the ball to roll earlier, or does this hold axis rotation a bit longer, yet maintaining high flare off the dry?  I have a couple of balls with the pin 4 1/2 from pap, and it checks up a bit too high in the backend.  I'm using this layout for medium to heavy mediums, otherwise I would go pin over fingers to get more length.  I'm high rev, 400+rpm, and put alot of side turn.  I plan on using this for a raging inferno, and looking for suggestions.

Thanks for reading

Pin to axis distance is a more dominate layout feature than core height in the grip.  Longer pad's will cut flare potential and maintain axis rotation, adding length.
