Thanks for the reply. Pin down on a longer pin to pap would be different further. So what does this layout do ?
+1 on not sweating layouts too much. Honestly for my style layout difference disappear in the noise of surface changes, oil transition, bowler inconsistency, etc. Still to see for yourself what a smoother pin down long pin to pap lower diff symmetric looks like compared to a pin up, max flare (diff) shorter pin to pap, much sharper layout (basically becomes an asym ball) watch the following video. Please keep in mind this ball (and this video, human bowler would probably not see as great a differences) are specifically designed to maximize the difference and even then its not as great as one would think.
