Title: Anybody got pics of a 135 deg MB layout?
Post by: JMORRIS on April 26, 2007, 05:35:53 AM
Just curious how this looks laid out on the ball.  I'm confident in my driller, but I would still like to have an idea what to expect before I request it.

Thanks,
Jermey

I tried this layout on an Element Zr40 and I will post a picture
later if no one has an example. I drilled it up first, then went
on the lanes on fresh oil, and saw were the flair lines were about.
Then I punched out the weight hole for balance. This is a very even
rolling layout, which on the wrong condition, will ping corners all
night. On the right condition, it is a great ball. Before I drilled
I looked at the article on the rollrite website, which shows drill
patterns and affects.
I am righty, whith medium revs, which the weight hole ended up about
10:00 - 10:30, 5 inches out.

Thirtyclean,

How far did you place the pin from your PAP?

Jeremy,
I have only drilled two, one for myself, and one for a
customer, and I did put the weight hole in after they threw it,
on a frsh pattern, and both do not hit the weight hole. A friend
of mine, who got his drilled somewhere else, clips his weight hole,
about 2 in every 10 shots, but it did not affect his carry.

Good Luck
