anyone have a layout for this
« on: December 11, 2006, 10:47:58 AM »
I am a high track flare bowler. I have a problem throwing high preformance bowling equipment for it hooks way too much for me. My bal speed is not really an issue at 16-16.5 MPH. I normally am limited to pearl reative bowling equipment. I am looking for a layout that is not flippy. I have a hand span of 5 3/8 inches. My hand creates a t n of back end in itself. Looking for a control layout that is arcy. I know this sound confusing any recomendations on ball choices and layouts let me know.

Get the pin high above the center line to keep from tacking over the fingers and thumb, but get the pin on or close to ur VAL or Vertical Axis Line. Weak drilling for smooth controlled arc.

What lane surface do you bowl on and do you have any idea what your rev rat and axis tilt are. These would be helpful to understand any layouts or adjustments that could be made.

Balls have all sorts of designed-in arc or skid/flip natures and anything in-between. This translates to the fact that a layout that will make one ball arc may not make a 2nd ball arc (it will still skid/flip) and may turn a 3rd ball into a urethane-like curve.

So what ball did you have in mind?

If you have no particular ball in mind, then for what oil pattern + lane surface would you like a ball recommendation?

Do you know your axis tilt and rotation?
These will and must affect any drill that anyone recommends.
