I don't have them in writing but I use it all the time.  Just have the bowler throw a couple shots and then use a grease pencil to trace the first ball track flare ring you can see.  you then place the Armadillo on the ball right side up...that might be another story...but you have to line up the grease pencil with the line on the Armadillo that matches it best.  When you have it lined up, use the grease pencil to make a mark in the small indentation on the other side of the Armadillo and that will be the bowler's axis point.

I hope that helps and if you need more info, pm me and I will get back to you asap.

Thanks, Rev.  I hope to have the opportunity to start experimenting with it this weekend.

You can also use the Armadillo to lay out a ball for drilling, let's say for a 5" x 4" layout.  Line up the 5" line on the Armadillo with the pin and rotate the Armadillo around, holding the 5" line on the pin until the cg (or mb) falls on the 4" line.  The PAP for the layout will be at the axis finder on the Armadillo.  Then use your normal method for finding the grip center, the center line and the midline.  --  JohnP

It was actually a throw-in for a deal that I made for some other pro shop equipment.

I have *no idea* what a used Armadillo would go for these days.
