I am thinking about having this done because I am suffering from so much swelling by the third game in my bowling hand that I don't feel like I can hold onto the ball.I was wondering if this would alleviate some of the pressure on my two fingers by adding a third whole and which hole would be best to use...index or pinky? It's only my two fingers that swell....not so much my thumb.Any advice would really be helpful.Thank you.

Have your pro shop, or another, check your fit first. You didn''t say if your grip is fingertip or conventional. If it''s fingertip w/ inserts, have flex grips put in(or vacu grips). They make a huge difference in comfort by allowing for swelling and shrinking. Your grip may be wrong. if it is right, get him to add a pinky hole. It will make it easier to hold on to. I have done this for many people. Good luck!

Check your fingere joint flexibility! It sounds to me like you need more reverse finger pitch than you have. If this is the case, correcting the pitch may solve your problem. -- JohnP
