I never tried it before until the proshop operator wanted to try this on a Mutant Cell Pearl for me. DA wise, it turned out to be 75* 3" 25*, left OOB. I compared it to my Virtual Energy, 50* 4.5" 25* which was at 2000 dull.
I expected the VE to be more aggressive front to back, but I was wrong. The VE checked sooner, but with a tamer transition and arcy backend. The Mutant Pearl I was about 3 boards left, my breakpoint was about 3 boards right. The transition was much faster and flipped off the spot faster.
I need to compare these two at the same surface, but really like what I saw with the 3" pin. I think this is something I may need to incorporate into more pieces, especially with longer, heavier patterns.
Any 3" pin users that can add to this?
