The following point came up in conversation today. It sounds logical, but so obvious I may be missing something since I haven't heard it b4.
Let's see if I can explain. Let's say there's an unbalanced core with heavy side to the outside for a right hand bowler. When rolled, the previously outer block will be rotated to (in this case) the inside of the ball.
For a lefty, it is moved laterally, but since a lefty goes from the opposite side, the heavy side will end up on the inside, outside when rolled, creatng a very different reaction. If true, it explains a lot. However, it's too obvious, so I must be missing something, like say, it's moved over so much laterally that there is no difference.
Lousy explanation, but you get my drift.

lefty, you're correct, some asymmetrical balls will not roll the same for lefties and righties. =:^D
