Drilling help
« on: July 30, 2007, 04:02:04 PM »
I plan on getting a T-Road Pearl next month and would like to drill it to go between my Black Widow and Tropical Storm. First off, my PAP is 3 1/2 over, and 1/4th up. I would like this ball to go long and snap, but not be totally uncontrollable. But I guess before that, would this ball fit well between them? Black Widow is OOB and the Tropical Storm is 2000 polished. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Also, what top weight and pin length should I get?

Pin over bridge, CG kicked to the right. HMB to the right of thumb. Not sure how many inches that the pin is from the PAP.

Having had both balls,I can say that for me,the T-Road Pearl was every bit as strong as the Black Widow! It could replace the BW,but it won't be less ball. That R2S coverstock is very strong!

I might add,the Raw Hammer Toxic sounds like a ball to fit.By nature it goes long and snaps, but won't handle as much oil as your BW.One of my favorite balls when the condition lets me use it!

Would the Thunderstruck Pearl be a better choice?

I think I've decided on the Roto-Grip Venus.
