Deadbait is IMHO correct, even though that not knwoing your PAP makes things difficult. I assume you are a high tracker?
With 5" from PAP, the ball has a tamed-down recation, and the CG swung out towards the PAP (assuming CG matters...) makes it roll earlier - the core comes easily into its final position, the PSA, and the ball apparently "hooks out" and goes straight in the back end. IMHO a stacked CG directly below the pin would have given you more drive in the back end, this way the ball is very tame but is a excellent to battle flying back ends (what it apparently does well
).
There is no MB problem, since the Blue Vibe has no noticable mass bias, and even if it had the MB position would also promote the smooth but earlier roll that is only delayed by the high pin position.
What to do? You could try a balance hole under your PAP, in hope to increase and prolong the hooking action a little. Drilled deep enough (try a smaller but deeper hole, not a broad & shallow one) it might touch the core and shift the CG effectively back towards your grip center, also improving on the hooking action.
