Balance Hole and Track

Can adding a balance hole in the right spot move your track away from your grip?

I'm tracking just slightly over my thumb hole with a new layout.

What's the layout? How long is it on the thumb hole

I've attached the layout. Drilled in a Nexxxus.

I like the reaction but can hear it just clip the edge of the slug/hole a bit with my standard release. Wanted something long and smooth.

I don't notice this issue when I try to get around on it but it's not my preferred release.

Not sure on specs or measurements.  Can't get back to my driller until Wednesday.

Just wanting some opinions.

The pin is too close to your track which is pulling the track towards it...you can add a weight hole down your VAL which will get it to flare earlier and more to move it off your thumb quicker

Thanks.

This would be below my grip centerline correct?

This would increase my reaction down lane a little as well?

Thanks.

A balance hole did the trick and took the track just enough away from the thumb hole.

I did have to tone the cover down just a pinch as it was coming in a little steep.

Ball is a beast now, gets down the lane with ease and finishes strong.

I'm getting almost 2 games out of it before moving to my versa max or ringer.

Thanks again for the help!

Gotta be careful with pins over 5.5 inches away from pap, in my experience. With the stronger equipment, it will pull that track right up next to the fingers. With my PAP (4.75x1/2), it will make me look like a high tracker.

It's true, driller and I knew it would be close but glad it worked out in the end.

Everything else is now around 1/4"-1/2" closer to my PAP.
