Balance Hole Question
« on: October 13, 2011, 10:36:34 PM »
Question for drillers out there.

I have a Mutant Cell Pearl  drilled at 4 3/8 x 4 3/8 x 2 that I am reasonably happy with it's performance.   I noticed last night in looking at the oil rings that my Bow Tie is tight and/or my flare rings are fairly close together.    Would anyone recomend a P3 Blance hole to get a little more flare out of my ball?   As you can see from the picture, my CG placement gives me positive side weight but within legal limits.

The small white dot on the right of my ball is my PAP the RG is almost dead on in the middle of my VAL and Track.   My specs are: avg to slower speed (approx 14 mph), slightly rev dominate, high track, axis rotation approx. 45 degrees, axis tilt - approx 15 degrees, PAP 5 1/2> 1/2^

Thanks

MK

If you are content with the ball why do you want to change it?

If you have slower ball speed, keeping the flares tighter will help get the ball down the lane.
