I recently did a search on ball plugging techniques in google (think it was a different variation) and I came upon a site that told me to keep the plug area wet when taking it off with your knife......unforunately I can't find it again.....don't know if any of the proshop guys and gals on here have found it but to the point.......it really works.....it just glides very easy over the plug and I guess since the surface is wet on the ball it doesn't really let you dig in to the surface as you take the plug down to where it is in shape with the ball......really good tip......no flat spots from what I could tell .......
