Ball Scribed - PAP
« on: March 18, 2024, 11:41:51 AM »
My  ball has scribed lines from recent drilling, would one be able to determine their PAP and anything additional from the drilling ?  If yes, how do I go about it.

Bowled for near 40 years but never learned anything about ball drilling, always relied on my tour pro's expertise.

No. The scribe lines are for your span.

To determine where your PAP is you'd have to throw the ball with a small square of tape (white generally works best) in the area you expect your PAP to be. When the tape is in a relatively stable position after your release, that's where your PAP is. Then just measure the distance from the center of your grip. Over and up/down

This is assuming you still want to see it on your own.
