I'm using 3M superglue gel but might try something from the Loctite line when I run out.

PlastiZAP, save your bowling balls guys.
Any hobby shop, white and orange bottle, about $4.00 a bottle.

I use cheap stuff from the local thrift store. It comes 6 per pack at about 1.50 per pack. Hard to beat at 25 cents per tube. Never had a problem.........

Super Glue Gel @ Dollar stores - 3 pack for a buck. Slower drying - less chance to get messy stuck or glue residue on ball.

I prefer the Loctite brand Super Glue Gel. It comes in a triangular shaped plastic container with little blue grippers on the side. It's more expensive than regular Super Glue but I have found it to work exceptionally wwell on all inserts.
Then only ones I have had to dop prep work with are the Turbo Ice grips and the Silli-Quicks. All I do with these is wiper down teh grip and the inside of the hole in the ball with acetone and the adhesion is awesome.

I use LocTite in the bottle with a brush applicator. I glue inserts all the way around and the brush makes it easy to get a thin layer exactly where you want it. I've never had a grip that I glued in come loose. The local WalMart carries it. -- JohnP

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't super glue react with the resin, possibly causing weakening of the cover/cracks?
PlastiZAP is probably some kind of epoxy...

Other than Loctite, Bob Smith Industries in CA is the largest private label manufacturer of super glue. I buy a carton of 12 - 2oz bottles for $6.50 each from a local hobby shop. The Quick Set, 1-5 seconds, works great on the Turbo Ice Grips. For regular grips I use the 5-15 second setting glue. The best way to minimize the effect of the glue on the ball is to use a very minimal amount. After all, it is called Super Glue.

It's made specifically for plastics. Turbo recommends it, so I recommend it!
